During 2016 and 2017 we worked side by side with artist and artisans and other graphic designers in a co-working space called “Local G”. This place was located in an old factory in Barcelona’s city center. The warehouse was a real magic place where anything could happen. We meet incredible people and awesome projects during these two years. At that time, they hadn’t a logo that were representative for them, so the asked us to create something from scratch.
One of the most impressive things about this magical place was its old fashion stone paving floor and its characteristic roof. We decide after many drafts that the roof was the most inspiring to us because of its serial geometry and the history behind this place it. So this logo was inspired on the Volta Catalana (roof’s name), one of the classics styles from Catalunya. The result: a clean logo with a modern touch and a hidden history. Hope you like it 🙂
